MOF BI-ANNUAL FREE MEDICAL MISSION (11TH EDITION): OUR FOUNDER, DR AMAECHI MARCEL OFOMATA WROTE:

The Marcel Ofomata Foundation successfully completed the 11th Edition of her Bi-annual Free Medical Mission for rural dwellers in Isuofia, Nanka and Okpoko Communities and it environs in Anambra State on the 13th, 14th and 15th January 2022.

 

Reports from our Medical Directorate is on shows that over  One Thousand and Fifteen (1015) rural dwellers freely received various medical services including 

Free Medical Consultation,  Diagnosis/Treatments, Free Surgical Operations (up to 16

Major ones), presentation of Personal Protective equipments ( PPEs), Health Education, Laboratory Tests, Eyes Check/Presentation of free Eye Glasses, Referral/General Health Services during the Free Medical Outreach.

 

Later at the dinner ceremony for the Medical Missionaries, we appointed and inaugurated a 7 Member Medical Mission Board of our Foundation headed by our Medical Director - Dr Alphonsus Ekanem while other members includes; Dr Ekeminiubong Ukut, Dr Oluebube Okoye, Chief Jeremiah Okoli, Nurse Agnes Akpan, Nurse Esther Ekpenyong and Mr. Peter Saturday as Board Secretary. We are confident in their capacities and experience to advancing the ideals of our Foundation. 

The Foundation also presented Certificates of Volunteerism and Souvenirs to her Medical Professionals and Volunteers who have offered their services to humanity through the Foundation for 4years period and above.

 

On behalf of the leadership of our Foundation, I write to express our profound gratitude to our Medical Professionals, numerous volunteers for continuously committing their professionalism and time in the service of humanity through our Foundation. We appreciate the Igwe Of Isuofia - HRH, Igwe C.A. Muoghalu and the Igwe Of Nanka - HRH, Igwe Godwin Ezeilo and the THREE host communities for their reception as well as the management and staff Of Ozalla Primary Health Care Centre, Okpoko, Isuofia and Ofuobi General Hospital, Nanka for the reception and collaborations as well as the solidarity of the Nigerian Red Cross, Aguata Division.
